In Florida there are an amazing number of waterways to explore. Canoes & kayaks provide a viable and exciting means to do this. At Expedition Central, we focus on the Suwannee River and the three rivers that feed it, the Santa Fe, Withlacoochee, and Alapaha. The ecosystems along these rivers, with their springs, support a huge diversity of life. A multitude of plants and animals depend on rivers and freshwater springs to survive, ranging from big to small; some of them are well known, and many are often overlooked. All this will enhance your 'expedition'.
